Whenever you hear of a new solution to treat a problem like xerostomia, an initial reaction is, "Does it work?" Importantly, NeutraSal is a supersaturated calcium phosphate rinse. It does not cure dry mouth; rather, it relieves symptoms while helping to protect tissues in the mouth.

According to OraPharma's data on file, at least 80% of dental patients with varying degrees of xerostomic symptoms noticed an improvement in each category after rinsing with NeutraSal 2 to 3 times per day for 28 days. This is how the results broke out:

->93% noted improvement in drinking
->90% noted improvement in swallowing
->90% noted improvement in speaking
->86% noted improvement in taste disorders
->80% noted improvement in eating

Moreover, 93% showed a decrease in S. mutans population. Average salivary pH improved from 5.9 to 7.0. However, it's important to note that these symptoms do not represent all potential xerostomia symptoms that patients may experience.
