Have you had an honest conversation with yourself about your dry mouth? How do you know if you’re experiencing xerostomia or oral mucositis?
Here are a couple of brief quizzes that will not only shed light on the symptoms you’re experiencing, but also what the condition could be.
Quiz 1
- Does your dry mouth wake you up at night to drink water, and possibly increase your need to use the restroom?
- Is your mouth dry when you eat a meal?
- Do you need to sip liquids to help swallow and speak?

- Do you have dry, cracked, or bleeding mouth because of a lack of saliva?
- Do you have discomfort from lack of saliva while underdoing radiation and/or chemotherapy treatment?
